Happy Friday, everybody! Time for a new installment of Ask Alan, where we revisit my recent frustrations with The Walking Dead, try to figure out if The Office has the most impressive roster of directors of any TV series, and take a little tour through all the swag, books, and DVDs on my office bookshelf(*).

(*) One thing I didn't mention, but which people ask me about now and then: why are so many of them still shrink-wrapped? In virtually every case, it's a show I've seen before (often many times), and this is just the most recent version of a box set that I've got. I have multiple versions of Band of Brothers, for instance, including my original HBO screeners, and thus have never felt the need to crack open that commemorative DVD case.

As always, you can watch the video embedded at the top and bottom of this post. And, as always, you can send questions to askalan@hitfix.com.
