Alabama Shakes - comprising vocalist/guitarist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, drummer Steve Johnson, and bassist Zac Cockrell - are celebrating a phenomenal year. Boys & Girls, the Athens, AL based band's debut album, was hailed as one of the best albums of 2012 by Rolling Stone and NPR Music in their midyear round-ups. It bowed at No. 1 on the Independent Label chart in April and spent 15 consecutive weeks in the top 50 of the Billboard 200.
