Last week we got the series premiere of "Zero Hour," the episode that, essentially, got the whole ball of wax moving. The question is whether tonight we're going to get the regular 'restate the thesis' second episode or if they're going to give us something new and different. Perhaps though, the bigger question is, whichever way they choose to go, if the episode will be interesting. Tune in and find out if this is the week Hank and his reel are getting sent to Miramar... because we imagine that is going to happen eventually.

Will, by the end of tonight's double episodes, Anthony Edwards have found zese clocks? Oh, you know zese clocks, zese are the clocks that he has had to find in order to get back the love of his life or prevent the end of the world or beat the Nazis 70 years later or something. We don't, exactly, know what zese clocks do or don't do, but we hope that tonight all our questions will be answered. Probably they won't be because some of our questions are a little remedial, but they might be and if they are, the answers lie with zese clocks. We must find zese clocks.

Listen, no one is going to pretend that by the standards one measures most TV shows "Zero Hour" has been successful. We need not concern ourselves with that here. No, what we need to worry about is whether or not we care about it and want to find out what is happening with zese clocks. Tonight is, if our count is right, episode eight of the 13 which were produced. Entitled 'Winding' (again, if we have our info right), it is going to continue Hank Galliston's search for his wife and, not surprisingly, zese clocks and the story surrounding zese clocks. And Nazis.

It is ABC's stated plan to air episodes of "Zero Hour" on Saturday nights until there are no more episodes of "Zero Hour" to air. For those of you who have forgotten, this is the Anthony Edwards series about the Nazi clocks that premiered with a whole lot of fanfare only to be taken off the air after three episodes. There were certainly some people out there who were disturbed by this because they needed to know what the deal was with the clocks... and the Nazis. And that is why ABC is going to be running the remaining episodes starting here tonight as a part of Saturday burn-off theater.
