Last year we got more than one new television series which was based in the 1960s. Both "The Playboy Club" and "Pan Am" proved to be less than successful entries on NBC and ABC respectively. Now, one year later, CBS will be premiering its own 1960s-based television series, "Vegas." Will the glitz and glamor of Las Vegas do what the glitz and glamor of a Playboy Club and the golden age air travel couldn't (entice viewers to watch)? With Dennis Quaid and Michael Chiklis headlining the cast, it just might.
