TV Network - ShowtimeShowtime's new Diablo Cody-created comedy ends its first season.
It's been a tumultuous first season on the show, which is really less of a comedy than a 30-minute dramedy.
When last we left Tara, she'd checked into an in-patient psychiatric facility and in the finale, she has a meeting with an important person from her past, gets her family back together and is forced to deal with the role the alters play in her life.

"Juno" Oscar-winning scribe Diablo Cody brings her particular verbal flair to the small screen in the dark comedy "United States of Tara."
Showtime describes it thusly: "Suburban wife and mother Tara Gregson (Toni Collette), juggles her family and career while suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder. It's never a dull moment in the Gregson household as the various identities may appear on any given day and range from "T" – a flirtatious and spunky teenager to "Buck" a gun-loving male alter…all while her supportive husband Max (John Corbett) and their two teenaged children, Kate (Brie Larson) and Marshall (Keir Gilchrist), try to lead as much of a "normal" life as possible."
