We often wonder what our boss would do were he undercover and spying on us, but as he'd have to be some sort of spyware on our computer to make that happen (or, literally, a fly on the wall), the notion leaves us quite quickly. Happily, we get to watch "Undercover Boss" regularly and see what happens to people who work in regular offices/locations. We do wish that more tangible long term changes would come out of the show, but really, what is the owner of Hooters going to do to minimize the objectification of women that takes place at his restaurants. We just don't see the restaurant switching over to a flannels-and-baggy sweatpants look.

Okay, so "Undercover Boss" has only done three or four episodes this season before changing days of the week, but that has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that the show changing days of the week starting today. Oh yes, for the foreseeable future "Undercover Boss" will be airing on Friday nights instead of Sundays and we can think of no better way for you to make them feel comfortable on their new night than to tune in. We are hoping that that they give us an especially good episode to celebrate the move -- maybe the CEO will shutter the entire company after he sees how poorly it's run... now that would be something.

Perhaps unexpectedly, "Undercover Boss" will be starting its third season tonight. For those who don't know about it, the show has the head of a large company go undercover at said company in order to find out what could work better and who at the place really cares. Do they may grand changes and truly affect more than those with whom they interact? Sometimes? Maybe?
Tonight, the season will begin with the head of Diamond Resorts International going undercover. Will he give all his employees five stars?

We would love to tell you that the undercover boss will be revealed tonight on "Undercover Boss," and while they will, it isn't really all that special a fact considering that the undercover boss is revealed every week on "Undercover Boss." Actually, we hope that tonight's boss is so perturbed by everything that they see that they opt to shutter their whole company. Wouldn't that make for a great cliffhanger season finale? They could then start season three with the boss forging a new company or a mid-level exec going out on their own. It would be the perfect two-parter.

There is a question as to whether or not any of the CEOs who have gone undercover this season have made any substantive changes at the companies they run. There is also a question as to exactly how blind a boss some of these people have been to allow the shenanigans they've witnessed while undercover to take place. We promise that tonight you'll receive no answers whatsoever to those questions. None. We virtually guarantee it. This is the season finale, not some sort of recap episode that is going to break down, line by line, what the CEOs have done. We suggest you simply bask in the foolishness of the premise and enjoy.
