Top Gear USA

There is a large contingent of people out there who, rightly or wrongly, think that the U.S. version of "Top Gear" isn't really as good as the British one (we'd call it the 'British original,' but it isn't, the original was British, but the currently airing British version is not the original British version).  If you choose to watch the early seasons though of the current British series, you may note that it isn't the same as the current seasons of that series and, possibly, is more similar to the U.S. "Top Gear" than you might like.  Will the U.S. show move in the direction of the British one?  New episodes start tonight, it may be worth tuning in to find out.
