This show just got started last week, and if you watched we're sure you had a lot of questions about what has happening and where things where headed.  If you didn't watch, you're probably wondering if you should have tuned in.  Tell you what, why don't you check it out tonight, see if any questions are answered if you did watch and try to answer for yourself whether you should have watched if you didn't.

Holy macaroni, this has been quite the season for "The Strain" has it not?  Listen, forget zombie apocalypse, "The Strain" makes a pretty good case for vampire apocalypse.  We know that our heroes have been able to do some important things in fighting the vampire menace, but frankly they feel horribly outmanned and outgunned.  Perhaps tonight's season finale will change that, but perhaps not.  The show has been renewed for a second season, there has to be a whole lot of vampire goodness still to come.

We like to think of this as a big moment for a television series.  Tonight, "The Strain" is going to air its 10th episode.  That is double digits.  That is big.  Think about when you hit double digits, it was a big moment, right?  The vampires on this series are in triple digits, and that would be a big moment as well, but double digits isn't bad.  There are just a couple weeks left to the season and things are moving a quite a clip -- we have to wonder if vamps are comfortably with that, after all, if they live so long, wouldn't they prefer a more methodical pace?
