Reaction to the first season of "The Newsroom" was decidedly mixed. As much as it may have had some interesting things to say, it also often took the easy way out and some (all) of the relationship stuff didn't really work. How will things change for the second season? Well, maybe not at all, but maybe in truly great ways. The only way to really know that is to read our reviews and watch for yourself. At the very least, "The Newsroom" features a great pedigree and has some wonderful actors. Here's hoping for splendiferous second season for this Aaron Sorkin drama.

The third season of "The Newsroom" will also be the last season of "The Newsroom." It will consist of six episodes, down from last season's nine and the season before's 10. Even so, that puts the total output for the Aaron Sorkin series at 25 episodes, which is a nice round number. We do not know at this point which windmills will be tilted at, but we can promise you this, there will be windmills, and there will be tilting.
