Holy macaroni, do you realize that we haven't gotten a new episode of "The Mindy Project" since the end of January.  We know, that's ridiculous, but it also happens to be true -- no new Mindy since January.  The drought ends tonight, however, and not just with one episode, but with two.  Oh yes, back-to-back episodes celebrate the return of Mindy tonight.  So, get excited, but not so excited that you get insanely flustered and embarrass yourself in a way from which you'll never recover, that's her thing.

Mindy Kaling and company are returning tonight for the premiere of the third season of "The Mindy Project."  It makes us wonder -- at some point is this no longer a project and more of an endeavor?  Does it remain a project, which in our world implies some sort of testing/lack of finality, forever?  Surely the series has found its groove at this point.  We think it probably has.  Tune in tonight, watch the third season premiere and decide for yourself.

Through the years, first with "The Office" and now with "The Mindy Project," Mindy Kaling has proven herself exceptionally talented.  Okay, yes, she proved it even before "The Office," but it was there that she came to nationwide attention.  In any case, it is tonight that the second season of her series comes to a close.  We don't know how it's going to end, but we absolutely do expect to laugh as we watch it all go down.  After all, this is a comedy and not just a comedy, but a funny one at that.

Already renewed for a second season, "The Mindy Project" ends its first season tonight.  How has the project gone?  Probably that depends on exactly where you sit, but as the show has been renewed for season two, and said renewal came back at the beginning of March, the answer has to be that it's a least a qualified success.  As for what the season finale will offer up?  We suspect that Mindy will find herself in a crisis of her own--or perhaps a co-workers'--making and will somehow manage to extract herself with a great deal of difficulty.  Either that or through sheer dumb luck.

We simply aren't sure about the truth of the matter in real life, but what we do know for certain is that on "The Mindy Project," Mindy isn't the greatest of organizers, she isn't the greatest of planners, she isn't the greatest at cooking.  Well, those are all things which Thanksgiving requires.  Perhaps Mindy will do as we did one year and get some Shakey's Pizza delivered.  We are dying to find out her plans tonight and just how many other doctors and nurses and receptionists she can convince to follow her lead.
