This is the season finale of "The Leftovers." When the clock strikes 11 (maybe slightly later if they're allowed to go longer), the show will, like so many people in the world of the series, disappear. It will vanish into a puff of smoke. It will simply cease to exist until the DVD hits and then the second season arrives and it all starts back up again. And, now that we think about it, is that really ceasing to exist at all, and doesn't it still exist in our minds and hearts even if it doesn't exist on the air? Are we beginning to sound like the Guilty Remnant? Is that their thing?

We don't know how much you've been watching "The Leftovers," but through the first half of its season, the show has offered up a whole lot of questions while providing a couple of answers here and there (but not too many). As we've accelerated into the second half of the season, it may be (Depending on how you see things) that we've gotten some more answers, but truly there is a whole lot of stuff we'd like to see cleared up before the season ends on August 31st. Watch and see if any of that happens tonight.
