The Hour

This new BBC America series takes place in the less-than-swinging '50s and it centers on a news program giving the series that awesome show-within-a-show thing.  "The Hour" is also something of a spy thriller and we're not going to say that we understand exactly how the investigative news magazine in the series helps turn the overall show into a spy thriller, we just know that it does.  Perhaps that is one of the mysteries which the investigative news folks on the show explore.  Of course, if that's true it would add another layer to the series and perhaps make it a little too meta.
