The Carrie Diaries

This, people, is huge.  We don't want to get into any big debates about how old The CW target audience was when the series "Sex and the City" ended, nor do we want to dredge up the memories of the last "Sex and the City" movie and enter into a discussion on whether or not it was a success.  With "Gossip Girl" done, it was pretty much mandatory that The CW find a new show about rich kids in the city, so why not do it as a period thing using Carrie Bradshaw and get AnnaSophia Robb to play her?  And, hey, if some of the moms tune in to see what their icon was like back in the day, all the better for the ratings.  See how Carrie became Carrie tonight. Plus, a "Doctor Who" companion is in it.
