We are only getting 13 episodes of "Terra Nova" for the show's first season, which means that tonight's seventh episode marks the beginning of the second half of the first season... or something like that (ever since learning calculus we can't do math with numbers). Yes, for a show that has been in the works for an exceptionally long time (remember, the pilot was supposed to air last May), 13 episodes doesn't seem like a whole lot, but when you're dealing with a production as expensive as this one (apparently), it doesn't seem wrong to take what you can get, especially if that's a dinosaur.

On tonight's episode of "Terra Nova" a huge asteroid comes crashing down and destroys all life on planet Earth. Okay, we totally just made that up (really, we did, we don't know what the episode is about this week), but we can't wait to figure out exactly how they're going to deal with that issue. Yes, yes, we're well aware that the folks on the colony almost certainly have plans in place to work out how exactly they're going to escape the same fate as the dinosaurs, but we'd actually love to see the event play out. It almost assuredly won't be tonight, but hopefully we'll get some other sort of cliffhanger finale.
