You know how "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" ends up taking runners-up and making them the lead in a new season of the show down the line?  Yup, it's a tactic that's worked well and so that's what the producers of "Sweet Home Alabama" have done, taking season one runner-up Tribble Reese and giving him a show of his own.  What, you ask, is the trouble with Tribble?  Oh man, we can't wait to find out... and to make a ton of other horrible, horrible, terrible jokes about the "Star Trek" creatures.

You want to be amazed by something -- "Sweet Home Alabama" had its series premiere in mid-July of last year and somehow, today, they're ending their third season.  Three full seasons in eight months is an impressive feat.   As the show is all about having someone find true love we worry that having three people find love in eight months kind of ruins everyone else's odds -- surely there is a finite amount of love that can be found in a year and if they're using it all on a reality show that leaves less for the rest of us.  We are not rooting for this season to end unhappily, but we're worried about everyone else out there trying to find happiness.

In this very "Bachelor"-esque show, Devin Grissom has been trying to choose not just about a specific man, but about a type of man as well.  Essentially, she's been figuring out whether she wants a country boy or a city boy and which specific instances of those types she might like.  Tonight, whether she's ready or not, Devin is going to be making her choice.  This is the season finale, and we don't care what the producers might say about Devin's long term choices, we're insisting that whomever she chooses tonight be her final choice forever.
