Queen Latifah not only stars in this new adaptation of the play and 1989 film of the same name, she actually is executive producing it as well. And, beyond that, she's bringing a whole lot of star power to the small screen with her as Adepero Oduye, Alfre Woodard, Condola Rashad, Jill Scott, and Phylicia Rashad all appear alongside her. Airing on Lifetime and directed by Kenny Leon, "Steel Magnolias" will see Latifah as M'Lynn, which is the role Sally Field played in the 1989 film.
