You may not realize this, but there's a war going on in this country. No, it isn't a war between political parties, nor is it a war between different religions. It is, instead, a war in the most unlikely of places -- it is a war of shippers, not the UPS and FedEx ones, but rather the smaller guys. Go right now and try to find out about shipping your car across the country, you'll be surprised by the process. This series focuses on the bidding process independent truckers undergo in order to be able to take your stuff (or someone else's) from one place to another. The process can be truly fascinating.

Season six of "Shipping Wars" just ended in August, but like a long haul trucker needing to hit the road soon after returning home in order to make a living, it is back again with a whole new season tonight. The show is all about these independent truckers who have to go out and move stuff around that most trucking companies wouldn't touch. There is a bidding component and an actual shipping component and some truly weird stuff that has to be moved. Back-to-back episodes launch the new season.
