There is a certain joy and a certain sadness, we know we've expressed this sort of feeling before, that we have with tonight's second episode of the third season of "Sherlock." You see, we've waited so long for the show to return and we are so excited by its presence that we are happy. But then, there's the other side of the question, the side that says that after tonight there will only be one more episode before it's gone again for who knows how long. Cumberbatch and Freeman are busy men, it may be a while before we get more "Sherlock" after next week.

Sadness is... well, this. Tonight, we're getting the third and final episode of the third season of "Sherlock." Will their be a fourth season? If there is a fourth season will we get it before 2016? What does the future hold for Sherlock and Watson and "Sherlock?" Maybe tonight's episode, again, the last one of the season, will hold the key to unlocking the future. Watch and see. Plus, you can probably expect a pretty cracking case to be solved.

Oh man, we have all waited a good long time for this moment. The last new episode we got of "Sherlock" was way back in May of 2012. Way back in May of 2012. That drought ends tonight, and it ends with the first of three glorious new episodes of "Sherlock." Benedict Cumberbatch is back. Martin Freeman is back. The humor and wonder and amazement and everything else that makes the show so much will, also, hopefully be back. Tune in tonight and see if it's as good as you remember.
