If you didn't think that "Revenge" could possibly go this long, we'd like to take a minute to remind you that the book it's kind of, sort of, practically based on, "The Count of Monte Cristo," is a ludicrously long novel. Seriously, if you were to adapt everything (or every thought perhaps) that occurs in the book for a TV show, you might be "SNL" 40 season long. But we digress. We don't know where the fourth season of the series will go, but we're certainly going to tune in and find out.

Admit it, you thought that it would be exceptionally difficult for ABC to have this series run this long (the third season ends tonight). Well, if so, perhaps you didn't read Dumas' book, "The Count of Monte Cristo," upon which the show is based. Having read the unabridged version we are not afraid to tell you that it is long. Seriously long. It goes on forever. You would think that it was done, but then you look at the book and realize that you're on page 300 out of 8,532,653,002. Is that an exaggeration? Maybe, but not a big one. Watch the season ends tonight and see if everything ends fair and square.

Sometimes we all need to take a break. If you happen to be on an incredibly personal, truly involved, quest for revenge, you probably need a break more than most. Consequently, this is the last episode of "Revenge" we're going to get for a while. The show is scheduled to start back up with new episodes come March 9th and will, presumably, run straight through the end of the season without repeats at that point. But, for now, this is it.

As Khan told us, revenge is dish best served cold and it is very cold in space. The Hamptons, as far as we're concerned (and despite what the weather on the show often appears to be), is a lot like space. Come on, with all the money these people have and all the backstabbing that we don't really understand these folks are like aliens... aliens from space. Plus, it's beautiful in a way that we don't think much of the world is beautiful. The landscape is--you know what we're going to say here--alien. See what sort of revenge is meted out tonight on the "Revenge" two hour season finale.

When Jack and Amanda's wedding ceremony reminds Emily of what could have been, emotions take control; things get increasingly complicated for Daniel at Grayson Global; Conrad begins a new chapter for himself.

Sometimes we all need a break, a breather, a respite. Even those who need revenge, sometimes, are forced to wait. But, the truth is this -- when you're out for revenge, you're always out for revenge and even if you need to take a week or two or three off, you're going to be actively pursuing your revenge again in the not too distant future. Such is the case with Emily on "Revenge." She took off most of December (as they do in the Hamptons), but now that the new year has come, she's going to be back at work starting tonight. Shouldn't you tune in to stop her from coming after you?

The primetime soap has a long and storied history. ABC's "Revenge" is certainly in the mold of many a classic soap opera -- it features a wronged woman, huge revelations, tons of money, lots of power, and a decent amount of privilege. Plus, there are some pretty swell outfits that get worn. Will the mysteries and revelations deepen tonight or will the entire show simply pop, like a bubble at the end of a shower? While we won't get all the answers we want tonight, we can definitely expect some hints.

As Khan taught us, revenge is a dish best served cold. Well, that's kind of what we thought until we started watching "Revenge," because "Revenge" is kind of hot and we like it that way. We are more than a little interested in how things are going to end tonight because as much as we'd like to see some more closure on this season's plot lines, they then would have to also introduce some hints about next season. It is a lot to accomplish in a satisfying way over the course of an hour long show. And, the truth is, if they fail, we would all kind of want revenge, wouldn't we?
