Unless we are wrong--and we are hardly ever wrong--the last new episode of "Raising Hope" aired more than a month ago. In fact, on that night we got a double episode, just like we're getting tonight. But, that was a Tuesday night episode (or double episode) and tonight is going to be a Thursday night episode (or double episode). We get confused about when and how to find episodes of "Raising Hope," but we highly recommend that all new episodes are watched -- there can't be a fourth season if there isn't an audience large enough for it. So, tune in tonight for the double episode finale of season three.

When Jimmy and Sabrina look into getting a new car, they discover that Jimmy has a rock-bottom credit score dating back to his childhood; Burt and Virginia claim responsibility and beg the bank to clear the debt, even if it means giving up their car.

This is it people, it's time to bust out the diapers and those great parenting techniques -- "Raising Hope" is back for season three. What does that mean for us, exactly? Well, mostly it means that our opportunity to laugh while watching television has increased by 30 minutes a week. "Raising Hope" is one of those shows--we think it's often referred to as a sitcom--that has the goal of making one laugh, and make us laugh it does. These people may not be the best parents but they try and they care and that counts for a whole lot. Plus, they do make some pretty funny jokes.

Next week, "Breaking In" is going to return to the FOX schedule but tonight... ah, tonight is the second season finale of "Raising Hope," that little weird comedy about a family raising a baby. You might think the folks here shouldn't raising a baby due to their general comportment and demeanor, but we'd like to point out to you that they very much love the little child and, barring a really strange ending to the second season, the child is still happy and healthy. That's some pretty important stuff, isn't it?

This may be the funniest comedy on television that you're not watching, so might we suggest that you give it a gander as the new season begins. We certainly imagine that the show will be very accessible to those who haven't seen it before (they're going to want to get more viewers this season) and the baby that the family has adopted is certainly quite cute. The family itself... we wouldn't call them cute, but we would call them funny, and funny is a pretty good thing for a comedy to be. Tune in, give it a shot, what do you have to lose?
