Maria Bello isn't exactly who we think of when we're asked to picture an American Helen Mirren (generally for that we think of Helen Mirren doing a Boston accent). But, ever since her stint on "ER," we've had something of a thing for Bello and we'll now get to watch her take on the lead role in this U.S. adaptation of the famed British crime show. Bello and company have some tremendous shoes to fill if they hope to live up to the inevitable comparisons between this series and the original, and tonight we'll all get to see how they're managing.
