Platinum Hit

Some shows are awfully difficult to explain, requiring paragraph upon paragraph of description, so let's see if we can somehow manage to quickly give to you what "Platinum Hit" is all about -- songwriters try their best to come up with a great song and to not get eliminated in order to win a fantastic prize.  Hey, look at that, that wasn't so hard, was it?  We're not suggesting that this new reality show won't be new and different and wonderful, merely that the concept is a pretty easy one to describe and there's nothing wrong with that.  Jewel and Kara DioGuardi as host and head judge respectively.
