For those of you who are distressed that the second season of "Paranormal Witness" is drawing to a close after a mere 12 episodes, have we got good news for you -- Syfy has already ordered a 20 episode third season. Sadly, that third season isn't expected to air until sometime next year, so we do suggest that you tune in to tonight's second season finale and soak up all the "Paranormal Witness" goodness that you possibly can (make those PKE meters rise). Otherwise, the lack of new episodes may haunt you for months on end.

Tomorrow, you will sit down to a delicious turducken with stuffing and mashed potatoes and cranberry jelly and green bean casserole. You will eat until your heart's content and you need to unbutton your pants. But, what about tonight? Tonight, you must prepare for tomorrow's feast and you can use "Paranormal Witness" to do just that. How? By terrifying your stomach into submission with the season finale. Do make sure to explain to your stomach what you're doing however, otherwise it might not understand.

Tonight's episode of "Paranormal Witness," the first new one in over a month, is entitled "The Visitors." We, therefore, have our hopes pinned to the notion that we're getting alien ghosts or alien poltergeists or other alien spirits tonight. In short, we want aliens tonight on "Paranormal Witness" and we want them because they've used the oh-so-enticing term "visitors." In our world, "visitors" means someone from a different world and that is rather a thrilling notion.

When Syfy went from being Sci-Fi (or perhaps SciFi) to Syfy, there was some sort of notion offered up that the offerings the network was going to put forth would expand. We don't, precisely, know that this expansion has occurred, but we do know that there are a whole lot of ghost-based series on Syfy presently including this one, "Paranormal Witness," which is is launching its third season tonight. The series features reenactments of scary moments from people's lives... 'I see dead people' sorts of reenactments.

The whole point of this series is to have those who have actually borne witness to supernatural activities tell us (literally) their story. Oh yes, you also get your wonderful reenactments, but the series is based more on people giving us their stories rather than PKE meters going off and some slime on a card catalog. Tonight is the final episode of the first season of the series and that means that the ghosts are going to be spiriting away any more stories for the foreseeable future... or something like that.
