Oh, it may be the holidays, but make no mistake, Paula Zahn is on the case.  Tonight is the ninth season premiere of "On the Case with Paula Zahn" and, as we said and the title says, the newsanchor is, undoubtedly on the case.  What case?  Well, we don't know what specific story the Emmy-winner will be tackling tonight, but we do know that she is going to explore a crime, interview people in the know about it, and tell us what she's discovered and the truth behind the tale.

People, Paula Zahn is on the case.  Season five of this series is going to feature a whole lot more of of Zahn traveling around the country, talking to folks, researching stuff, and getting into the nitty-gritty of the story.  She explores mysteries, she explores tragedies, and she interviews those involved so that, just maybe, you'll shed a tear (and learn something).  Investigation Discovery refers to the series as 'the network's signature long-form journalism franchise.'  That means that this is the series that holds up everything that Investigation Discovery is and/or wants to be.  How is that not worth checking out?

In "On the Case," Paula Zahn spends a whole lot of time looking into real crimes and real criminals.  Zahn not only hosts the show, she executive produces it as well, so while we won't say that you're getting her full-on, unvarnished, opinion and work here, you are getting somewhere near said opinion.  According to Investigation Discovery, the show is a great example of the network's goal to 'investigate life's mysteries through riveting storytelling,' but we'll let you be the judge of that when you finish your own investigation of it.
