The last time we saw Dr. Dani (or is it Danny?), she was having some trouble with TK and troubled wityh her kids and troubles with the ddude from Buffy that we never liked.  We assume that all those stories are will continue tonight as the series returns to finish its second season.  Today we're getting episode 12 of the season (the episode's name is 'Frozen Fish Sticks') and come February 20th (as we understand it) we'll get episode 16 (not yet titled).  Maybe by then she'll work out all her life issues.  Yeah, maybe, but we kind of doubt it.

It has been quite the season on "Necessary Roughness," has it not?  From the vast change in scenery and big changes in the cast, "Necessary Roughness" has sported some big changes here in the third season.  We don't know what the season finale will bring, and the truth is that if they're any big shifts in season four they may wait until the start of said season before divulging them.  That being said, we don't think it's smart to skip the season finale and hope that you'll be up to date for a season four premiere.  Definitely tune into the finale tonight.

We have no definitive information as of this writing that John Stamos will definitely put in appearance on tonight's episode of "Necessary Roughness," but what we do know is that he is a recurring character this year and if we were creating a television show that had Stamos as a recurring character we would put him in the season premiere.  Will Doctor Dani fall for Stamos?  Wouldn't it be ridiculous if she didn't?  Utterly and totally ridiculous.  The guy is John Stamos after all.  Uncle Jesse.  Blackie.  That guy from the end of "ER."  How is Doctor Dani not going to fall for him?

What does Dr. Danny (or is it Dani or Danni?) have in store for us tonight on the season finale?  Ah, that's probably not the right question, is it?  It seems far more likely that the right question is what does TK have in store for us or what does Nico have in store for us?  Those are the corners from where we expect trouble to arise on the season finale, and we're virtually certain that trouble will be had on the season finale, especially with season three already ordered.  Yup, we're going out on a limb and suggesting that "Necessary Roughness" is going the cliffhanger route, tune in and see if we're right.

As is the norm for all USA scripted programming, the second season of "Necessary Roughness" is being divided into two bits.  The first of those two bits ends tonight with episode 11.  Now, we don't know when the final five episodes will air, but we suspect that tonight's summer finale is going to feature some sort of pretty exciting moment and that we're all going to have to wait for the show's return to see what happens.  All we really care about though is Dr. Santino getting back together with Matt permanently.  We like those two crazy kids together and we're getting a little tired of of the on-again/off-again nature of the relationship.

Should you have forgotten, "Necessary Roughness" is the series that has the woman from "Rescue Me" and "The Wire" making like she's a divorced sports therapist who is forced to work with the utterly insane wide receiver of the NY Knights (an alleged football franchise).  It's weird, because as we all know she's Jimmy McNulty's ex. We're told that this new season takes place during the off-season which is good because it ought to give TK (the insane WR) a little bit of time to recover after last season's finale (we're totally not going to spoil it if you haven't seen it).
