We know exactly what you're thinking -- you're contemplating how they could possibly be starting season four what with a new episode just having airedd last week.  Yes, well, it's true, a new episode did just air last week and that episode was the final episode of season three.  Tonight is the first episode of season four.  Tune in and look for what may be new and/or different.  For those unaware, the show is all about sending undercover agents (and cameras) into diners (and various other restaurants) to see what is really taking place behind the scenes.  It is both fun and terrifying.

Bosses can't be everywhere all the time.  Oh, well, yes, our boss manages to be everywhere all the time, constantly looking over our shoulder and complaining about why the laundry isn't done and the baby is running around not only sans diaper but also with gum in his hair, but that's not the point.  The point is that in general bosses are human and don't always see what their employees (husbands) are doing.  This show helps bosses (actual ones), placing undercover folks into restaurants to see what happens when the boss isn't immediately available.

The point of "Mystery Diners" is to send undercover agents (we'd guess actors and/or production assistants...  maybe both combined) into a restaurant to find out what's going on in said place.  It is like "Undercover Boss" except that it's only in restaurants and it isn't the boss who does the looking.  But, other than that, it's totally the same.  Well, this is on cable not broadcast and there's generally a hint that things are going badly before anyone goes undercover, but other than that, it's totally the same.  Watch, you'll see.
