Million Dollar Listing: New York

Well, this is it, the end of the second season of "Million Dollar Listing: New York." One day, mayhaps, we will get more opportunities to see the way real estate agents handle million dollar listings in New York, but it won't be next week. Tonight's finale is entitled 'A Shark is Born,' so we wonder whether Luis Ortiz, the new guy, is said shark. That would make sense, but a number of other explanations are also possible. For instance, what if one of the listings talked about tonight is near an aquarium and a shark is actually born. That would make sense, too.

If any network knows how to squeeze the most out of its series with found footage and reunions and secrets episodes, it is Bravo. Take a look here at "Million Dollar Listing: New York," it was an 11 episode regular season and then they did two reunion episodes and now, tonight, we're getting that "Secrets Revealed" thing. Now, please don't misunderstand, we're not against any of this, these specials offer a different point of view and give us insight that we may not otherwise get. That is precisely what we expect to see tonight.

Is there anything more fascinating than NY real estate? We just don't think that there is. In fact, we religiously read the real estate section of the Sunday Times in order to figure out exactly what is on sale, what we would buy, and just how many times we'll need to hit the PowerBall in order to make it happen. This is like that, except rather than only having still images, there is video and you get to see some truly snazzy stuff.
Tonight, the reunion begins, which means that you'll see a discussion of the snazzy stuff.

You know Fredrik Eklund, Luis D. Ortiz and Ryan Serhant are? They are "superstar real-estate agents," and when the Bravo press release says that, we think they mean it in a "they're really great" sort of way, not in a Mary Katherine Gallagher sort of way. Although, we have to say, we would totally watch that as a series. But, this is pretty good tooo --- the NY edition of "Million Dollar Listing" gets started today and with the real estate market in the city going strong, we imagine that things are going to be fun here on the show.
