We are very happy to see Jason Lee returning to the small screen in a role that seems hugely different from his years on NBC's "My Name is Earl." Here, Lee plays a Memphis police detective who plays the blues. The character apparently actually has a good sense for what people are feeling, and according to the press release is a 'southern gentleman.' No one ever could have described Earl in that way. What we really hope though is that we won't get the feeling every time we see Lee on screen that he really, desperately, need to shower using no less than a full bar of soap.
