TV Network - ShowtimeFor the second season of "Jim Rome on Showtime," the network has opted to go with a 'once a month' airing. And, in point of fact, said once a month airing will occur on the second Wednesday of every month from now through the end of the year. The show is going to tape before a live studio audience and as it's sports based and this is March, we can only assume that NCAA basketball will be on Rome's mind tonight. We further assume that a discussion of the baseball season might occur and that even the NBA might be on Rome's mind. Tune in and see how our assumptions play out.

It is the holidays, folks, and to many of you that means one thing -- it's bowl time. No, not supper (like dinner) bowl, college bowl games. They are rapidly approaching and Jim Rome is a sports guy and this is (we're told) a sports show, so we fully expect Mr. Rome to discuss the upcoming bowls. Listen, we know we shouldn't take a stand on such things, but we're pulling for the Irish. We hope Rome delves deeply into the upcoming game tonight, he may get overly fired up at points, but he definitely knows his stuff.
