One of the things promised to us this season on "Hotel Impossible" is Anthony Melchiorri going down to Seaside Heights, NJ and helping rebuild a hotel hurt by Superstorm Sandy. Tonight, we're get the first part of the "Hotel Impossible" Superstorm Sandy special and, we imagine, a whole lot of tears. It is difficult to imagine the devastation wrought by the Sandy and the way in which it hurt so many people so quickly, and hopefully Melchiorri is able to not just help people put a face on those hurt but to also do some real good.

Here we are, the final episode of the fourth season of "Hotel Impossible." That means that Anthony Melchiorri has but one last chance to try to set things right at some underperforming hotel or motel. Tonight, he'll be at the Glenwood Motor Lodge. Now, our quick google search didn't turn up anything under that hotel name, but we did find a Glenwood Motor Inn. Perhaps Melchiorri rebranded the place in Colorado during his visit. We don't know, but we're intrigued and will find out tonight.

If you're a fan of expert-based fix-it shows where some kind of famous person comes to a place (home or restaurant or hotel or business or whatever) and explains to the owners/resident/workers how to fix the location up, then we highly recommend you check out "Hotel Impossible" which, essentially, features Anthony Melchiorri doing exactly that. His approach in the press release is described as "no-nonsense" and in our world that translates into "you can probably expect him to fight with owners" but that's just our interpretation.

Last week, "Hotel Impossible" aired the first part of a Superstorm Sandy special. Tonight, we get the conclusion of the post-Sandy recovery help storyline. For these episodes, Anthony Melchiorri, the series' host, traveled to Seaside Heights, NJ, an area devastated by last year's storm, and put himself--and his team--to use helping to rebuild and reshape things. We choose to believe that Melchiorri has done this out of a true desire to help and not simply as self-promotion. Watch and see what good he does tonight.

Anthony Melchiorri spends his time going around the country, fixing hotels, and generally making all of our lives better. No, no joke, he's making all our lives better. Listen, we've all stayed at dumps of hotels, disgusting, rundown places that aren't just in need of fresh sheets but rather fresh everything. Anthony Melchiorri goes around does these things -- he fixes hotels. He makes them better. He makes all our trips better, especially because we think that when managers see what Melchiorri does, said managers make fix their own hotels. That would make some logical sense, wouldn't it?
