TV Network - TLCWe don't know about you, but we spent much of our summer watching other people struggle with personal issues (on reality show-based television). It hasn't made for the easiest time for us, but we think that there's potentially something valuable to learn from watching the real and true issues that other people have. But, rather than simply taking our word for it, why don't you tune in to tonight's summer season finale of "Hoardin: Buried Alive" and watch what can happen. It isn't an easy issue for folks to deal with and we choose to hope that this series is out to help people rather than anything else.

There are, as we have learned throughout the course of this series, many things which can be hoarded, but perhaps, none of them is so important, so necessary, so wonderfully perfect, as love. It is love which will make the world go round, it is love which will heal all wounds, it is love which will see the world become a better place. The people on this show, however, tend not to hoard love, they tend to hoard a whole lot of things it would probably be better if they threw away. They'll end up with love in the stuff's place, but that can be a hard leap to make.

The ultimate question with a show like this is whether or not the network and studio are helping the individual with the illness or if they're just exploiting them. We choose to believe that people are being given the help they deserve and we also hope that anyone out there who isn't sure if they have a problem, upon watching the series, opts to talk to someone to determine whether or not they do. Tonight marks the end of the third season of "Hoarding: Buried Alive," which means that this is the last time for a while that we'll get to explore this illness.
