What if you went around the country looking for haunted things and then, rather than dowsing them in purple goo and hiding them away, you bought them legitimately and then, sometimes, threw them into your museum so you could charge folks to see them? Well, if you were such a person you might be John Zaffis. Zaffis has a team of investigators, and they all go out and finds haunted things. He then does what he can to remove the hauntingness (without purple goo) or buys the items in question and brings them to his museum in Connecticut. Watch tonight's season premiere and see if he doesn't have a few new items lying about.

Tonight we are getting the 12th and final episode of "Haunted Collector"'s third season. Not only should the episode itself feature all of the haunted goodness you've come to know and love from the series, but now it'll be like the collection of third season episodes is complete and, as you all know, each episode is haunted. So, if you, yourself have each of the episodes (on your DVR, for example), you yourself are something of a haunted collector. It may be a bit meta but perhaps, if there's a fourth season of "Haunted Collector," you'll be featured on it. Exciting, right?

There is a scripted show on Syfy in which some very intrepid investigators go off to find haunted objects which they then dump into purple goo. This series is not that series. That is a scripted show and this is a 'reality' series. It features a real guy who, with an intrepid team of investigators, goes off to find haunted objects. We haven't seen him dump the haunted items into purple goo quite yet, but it is certainly a possibility that he's been holding out until tonight, the second season finale, to unveil his vat of goo. If that happens, we have to question just how secret the folks on "Warehouse 13" keep their secrets.

"Haunted Collector," as the name indicates, focuses itself wholly upon a man (and his family) who collects haunted objects and then puts them in this museum he has. John Zaffis (because that's the man's name) searches high and low for these haunted items and, because he is understandably a little concerned about putting stuff with such bad mojo in his museum, has put some good mojo objects in the foundations of the museum. We're a little curious about whether, as the negative energy in the museum builds, he needs to bury more good energy objects, but we're sure that Zaffis knows what he's doing.
