Tonight, "Ghost Adventures" returns and that means Zak, Nick, and Aaron are back with more investigations into famous--and not so famous--ghosts. Up tonight they're going to be going on the famous route, looking into the Sharon Tate ghost. We feel a little sheepish about this because, honestly, we didn't realize that Sharon Tate had a ghost. In hindsight, it totally makes sense, but we just hadn't 'realized it until now.

This week's episode is entitled "The Battle of Perryville." Upon hearing that, we thought to ourselves, "What in goodness' name is the Battle of Perryville?" A little bit of quick googling taught us that the Battle of Perryville was the largest battle fought in the state of Kentucky during the Civil War. Many men fought and lost their lives in the battle and, consequently, it seems like a place you could certainly expect to find ghosts. Tune in tonight and see if Aaron, Nick, and Zak do.

Will our adventurers find what they're looking for and then, more importantly, find their way out again?

Tonight, on the 100th episode of "Ghost Adventures," we promise you that the guys are going to go out and do their best to find ghosts. Yes, they will go on an adventure (or maybe more than one), hunting for ghosts. We aren't going to promise you anything about them finding ghosts, but they're totally going to go adventuring for them. We don't know where and we don't know how, but it will happen. We don't expect a retrospective episode either as they totally did one of those last week.

The new season of "Ghost Adventures," which premieres tonight, is going to have a 13 episode year. Spooky notion? Why yes, it is. It isn't just scary because 13 is a number associated with all things evil, it's scary because this is the eighth season and the show exhibits no signs of slowing down, like a dead person who doesn't know he's dead spooking everyone he meets. Tune in tonight, see how they kick the season off (with a bang, one presumes), and wonder at just all the spooky adventures they have ahead.

There are few things we know for certain in this world. One of these is that you can't possibly drink enough coffee -- it's simply not possible. If the world hasn't run out of coffee, you haven't had enough. Another is that Girl Scout cookies, Samoas to be specific, have gotten smaller. Take a look at a Samoa today and tell us that it isn't somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3 the size it used to be. Sad. Third, we know that if a ghost series promises a special episode, you should watch. We have been informed that tonight's "Ghost Adventures" on the Travel Channel is a special all about 'obsessions & possessions.' Maybe they'll visit the Girl Scout cookie factory and figure out if a ghost stole the rest of each Samoa... we're kind of obsessed.

There are places in this world which are haunted. There are other places in the world which may be haunted. Then there are places in the world which are, under no circumstances, haunted. Put another way, there is wheat, there is chaff, and there is that which may be either wheat or chaff. It is the job of the team on "Ghost Adventures" to examine the wheat and to examine the either wheat or chaff. Their job is to figure it all out, to learn that which they may learn, and to hunt for that ever elusive proof that ghosts, without a doubt, exist. Those are some pretty meddlesome kids, right?

Now, what is it that most travel seems to lack? No guesses? Okay, we'll tell you -- ghosts. Most relaxing travel lacks ghosts. This series rectifies that embarrassing problem, as you might have expected with it being called "Ghost Adventures" and all. On the series, three gentleman (Bagans, Groff, and Goodwin) go around the country to explore all the various ghosts that may or may not be present at different locales. We assume that they do this so that you know exactly where to go on your relaxing vacation provided that you want your relaxing vacation to feature ghosts. And, who doesn't want that?
