Flashpoint

In "Flashpoint," Veronica Mars' father has opted to move to Canada (he probably lost the election in Neptune) to join the SRU (Strategic Response Unit), a fictional group based on Toronto's Emergency Task Force.  Essentially, these guys have to handle whatever problems may come up within the city.  One week they may have to deal with a bomb, another week it's a suicidal teen, a third week there'll be some sort of whiz-bang hostage situation.  We assume that Veronica Mars' father's private eye skills come into play on a regular basis (even if Enrico Colantoni is pretending here like he's not VM's father).
