Ryan Johnson will be a series regular for this second season of "Fairly Legal." Johnson plays a 'sharp, hustling, up-and-coming trial attorney' and that means that Kate may just wind up having a fling with him despite Kate's not so much wanting to have a fling with him. He is, we're told, something of an ambulance chaser and that doesn't rub Kate the right way. Will she be able to reconcile her feelings for him while, at the same time, fighting the good fight against all the various bits of injustice she has decided to fight? We kind of hope she decides to pack it in and get herself a 1-800 number. It would be a cool way to end the season, no?

The second season of "Fairly Legal" has run straight through for the entirety of its 13 episode order. That means that we're not getting one of those weird split seasons with six episodes airing in the spring and another seven in the fall and the entire thing feeling all disjointed. So, that's good. But, then again, it's also bad because it airing straight through means that it ends that much more quickly. Tonight is indeed the end of the road for season two. Shed a tear and look forward to seeing Sarah Shahi again at a later date.

Legal or not, fair or not, right or wrong, this USA show starring Sarah Shahi is ending its first season tonight. Shahi's character has spent the season fighting for the little guy, doing that which is appropriate, and attempting to... fine, we'll say it, right wrongs. The show features USA's usual humorous slant (as evidenced by the name) on the whole good vs. bad thing, and Shahi certainly gives it everything she's got. Watch her give it her all one last time this season tonight.
