Thus far the franchise "Extreme Makeover" has had the traditional, "Extreme Makeover," and the update "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." Where the former dealt with people and their looks, the latter delved into homes. The newest entry, "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" goes back to people, but rather than doing slicing and dicing, actually focuses on them getting healthy. Each episode focuses on a single individual and a year in their life as they try to lose weight. Chris Powell hosts.
