There is something we really appreciate about a series that runs on a weekly basis without repeats, particularly when it's a soapy-mystery-scandaly show (yes, scandaly, accept it). You see, by going new every week, they're able to dole out just a little bit of interesting at a time, to deepen the mystery of the series just a tad a week while promising that next week should bring something more. Has "Deception" done that? On a semi-regular basis they have indeed. What are we going to be treated to this week? What shocking revelation (or near-capture of our hero) will we get to see and how will it all relate to the upcoming season finale (schedule for March 18th)? We shall find out.

We really don't hold out much hope that this season of "Deception" is going to end with everything tied up in a nice neat bow, but we're not sure it has to either. Wait, stop, now that we think about it, maybe the show should. That would truly be the ultimate deception, wouldn't it? You really couldn't possibly deceive us more than by tidily closing the story before the credits roll. Yup, now that we think about it, that's exactly what they should do... of course, since we've said that, if they did wrap everything up wouldn't be much of a deception anymore, would it?
