Here is the thing we don't understand about time travel -- haven't all the people who time travel at some point watched a show or a movie where people time travel? Haven't they realized just how bad a thing time travel is or how it can be used to their advantage? Take this show which features a time-traveling police officer getting stuck in the present after going after terrorists in 2077; why are there no contingency plans? Why does she bother continuing to work? Couldn't she pull a "Back to the Future II" with whatever internal sports almanac knowledge she has?
