Christmas in Rockefeller Center
Nov 28, 2012
TV Network - NBC
Every year, on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, they take that Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center and they make the lights go all twinkly. This is done with famous people smiling and singing and generally acting in a jovial fashion. It really is quite the festive time. But, we ask you to consider all the work that goes into it. Do you know how hard it must be to keep that tree all green and pretty in the middle of July and August? There are probably guys out there constantly hosing it down (remember, it's no longer in soil). So, celebrate all that hard work tonight, when you can see their efforts finally pay off.

Christmas in Rockefeller Center
Nov 30, 2011
TV Network - NBC
In this nation there are many Christmas trees. We don't want to say millions, but there may in fact be millions of them. Well, if there was one tree to symbolize them all (one tree to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them) it would be the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. As is tradition, the tree will be lit today, the Wednesday after Thanksgiving in an even sure to be filled with stars, music, and a whole lot of merriment. You can't avoid it anymore, the Christmas season is here.
