  There are those out there who might quibble with the use of the term 'celebrity' for some of the "Celebrity Wife Swap" people we've gotten this season.  But, we aren't the type to cast such aspersions.  Here is how we see it -- the nature of celebrity in our society has been greatly altered in the last decade or decade and a half.  Now, having eight children makes you a celebrity, and if that's the case, so be it.  All we would say is this -- we would never swap lives with someone who had eight kids (or more!), the amount of work required of us would be just tremendous (no matter how many nannies are waiting just off screen).

  Ah celebrity, is there anything more fleeting, more ethereal, more mysterious?  Yes, yes, there probably is, and this series really helps provide a more full view of who these celebrities are -- it helps pull them out of the ethereal and into the real.  If the show has proven one thing to us, it's that not every celebrity lives in the exact same fashion.  We have seen celebs who like kind of like us, sort of like us, and nothing at all like us.  What sort of celebrities will we get for tonight's season finale?  Who knows, but we're hoping for the more weird stuff, it always makes thing that much more enjoyable.
