Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew

We don't envy Dr. Drew the work he has had to do this season (we envy the money he has and the amount of time he spends on our television screen) with this particular crop of celebrities. But, no matter what good work he's done, no matter how much work he may have left, the truth of the matter is that while the celebs don't have to be done with rehab after tonight, they can't stay here. Tonight is the fifth season finale of "Celebrity Rehab" and so tonight is Dr. Drew's final opportunity to cure some folks.

We are, at this point, newly finished with the fifth season of "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." But, as we all know (especially if you watch "Parenthood"), people sometimes fall back to their old ways. Tonight we're getting an hour long special where the series goes back to that first season and sees how the celebs from the beginning are doing today. Next week we're going to get another look at season two, the week after season three, and then finally season four. So, this is it, for your big chance to get another look at your favorite "Celebrity Rehab" celebrities. It may be worth figuring out what season your favorite was on so you can carve out the time to watch (Andy Dick was season two and Tom Sizemore season three).

It is true that it has been said before that we don't want to go to rehab (no, no, no), but isn't it a little different if you're going with Dr. Drew? We don't imagine that rehab is easy even with Dr. Drew, but it does have to be easier than it otherwise might be, no? Isn't there some sort of rehab sliding scale? There's regular people rehab, rich people rehab, celebrity rehab, and then celebrity rehab with Dr. Drew. If you have to do rehab, the Dr. Drew version is probably the way to go (plus you're on TV for it).
