Do you remember us telling you back at the beginning of June to watch the first season of "Bunheads?" We discussed how it was the latest television show from Amy Sherman-Palladino. We mentioned it starring Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster. We even said that you could expect an appearance or six by Alan Ruck. Plus, and we may not have said this at the time, it really can be a very enjoyable television series. Tell you what, why don't you take the hour (45 minutes if you have a TiVo) you'll need to watch the season finale, watch the season finale, and then decide if you ought not go and seek out more episodes.

Tonight's episode of "Bunheads" marks the real first season finale (not a fall finale or a winter finale or a mid-week finale) of the series. We expect big things to happen tonight -- big, great things. We would suggest that maybe there will be a brand new type of bun for the head invented, but that nearly humorous suggestion tends to minimize the fun and drama that the series imparts. We will tell you this, between Sutton Foster, Amy Sherman-Palladino, and everyone else involved, ABC Family has found another good addition to their lineup of originals (even if said addition ends its season tonight).
