Being a police officer in a major city is not an easy job -- no matter where in the police department one might work, there are going to be some exceptionally hard moments. Donnie Wahlberg is amongst the producers of the show which is going to show us multiple aspects of the Boston PD. We don't know that you'll learn how to handle criminals all on your own simply because you're watching, but you will learn some of what it takes to be an officer in Boston PD.
