People eat weird stuff. Weird stuff. Seriously, travel around the country and just take a look in supermarkets and see the regional differences (pigs knuckles are not universal). Then, when that's not enough weirdness, watch "Bizarre Foods America" which has Andrew Zimmern travel all around the country and find less than normal foods which he then (often) proceeds to eat. It is true that once you realize how great it is to watch other people eat weird stuff there is a chance that you're going to get depressed, but never fear, a new season is just a few months off.
