We know what you're thinking -- you thought there wouldn't be a second season of this show because the senior citizens involved would have simply forgotten about making it or headed off to an early dinner or some similar thing. We didn't want to have to tell you this, but that's really kind of mean of you... and it didn't happen. Not only did they make a second season of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," NBC is going to start airing said second season tonight. Rejoice, it's time to watch the pranking, and pranking their will be.

You might think that the title of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" was trying to say that old people are crazy, and if it is, it is only trying to say that they're crazy like a bunch of (silver-haired) foxes. The show features the elderly getting off their rockers and into a whole lot of trouble by pulling hidden camera pranks on young whippersnappers. We prefer to think of the title as saying that Betty White still has it and that she's getting the elderly off of their rocking chairs and out to pull hidden camera pranks on young whippersnappers. And, we prefer to think that because that's totally what the show is all about.

Betty White's posse of elderly pranksters get the best of innocent bystanders; television personality Wink Martindale joins in on the fun, while a woman frantically searches for help when her dog gets into a sticky situation.

It was back in January that we all, as a nation, celebrated Betty White's 90th birthday. As a part of the evening's festivities, NBC aired the pilot for this hidden camera show. Tonight, the show starts its regularly weekly run. What that means for us is that we're getting a weekly reminder about how the greatest generation is not only great for the reasons we've thought they were great, but in fact also great for being hysterically funny (and occasionally terribly mean). Let the practical joking commence!
