  The CW (and The WB before it) have found some success with comic book-based series.  To be sure, not every television show they've offered up based on a comic book has been a success ("Birds of Prey"), some haven't even gone to series ("Aquaman" or whatever they were going to call that), but with "Arrow" they are, once more, on the right track.  We are hoping that, eventually, they'll do a "Batman" thing, but that seems unlikely.  Who knows though, maybe tonight's season one finale of "Arrow" is a backdoor "Batman" pilot.  Keep those fingers crossed people.  It won't happen (tonight), but keep those fingers crossed.

  Back in December on "Arrow," in an episode called 'Vendetta' (look, we did our research), we saw Huntress.  Now, tonight, Huntress is back.  We know this because tonight's episode is called 'The Huntress Returns' and any episode title which says that Huntress is coming back indicates that Huntress is coming back.  Jessica De Gouw plays Huntress and, if you ask us, she's awesome.  For those keeping track, this Huntress is not Helena Wayne (Earth-2 Huntress), but rather Helena Bertinelli.  You could go ahead and blame "Crisis on Infinite Earths" for retconning Helena Wayne, but what good will it do?  Accept what we have and move on.

  Have you missed The CW's newest hunky superhero/masked vigilante do-gooder?  He is a hunky superhero/masked vigilante do-gooder, right?  We think so, but whatever he may be, he's certainly been gone for a while (repeats don't count as his being around).  Where has he been?  Out on an island somewhere, away from the world, learning to be a hunky superhero/masked vigilante do-gooder?  That certainly seems likely, doesn't it?  We figure he goes there to brush up on his skills every once in a while, and because we can't tell the difference between fiction and reality we think that may be why he hasn't been on our TV screens with new episodes as of late.
