America's Orchestra: Celebrating 125 Years of the Boston Pops

<p>Keith Lockhart, the conductor of the Boston Pops, will be seen on 'America's Orchestra: Celebrating 125 Years of the Boston Pops.'</p>

It is entirely possible that as a New Yorker and a Yankees fan we don't quite see Boston for the excellence that it allegedly can be.  That being said, we do recognize the Boston Pops as being quite special and certainly for having existed for a whopping 125 years.  This particular PBS special is going to not only extol the virtues of the Pops, but also give us some of their history and will even feature interviews with celebrities.  As long as there isn't too much of a discussion of Boston's baseball team this should be quite the special.  Maybe they'll even tell us what the next 125 years will bring (besides the obvious dearth of World Series rings).
