Last night, we got the slightly delayed series premiere of "Almost Human." The show had initially been intended to begin a couple of weeks ago, but the delays are all behind us now, and rather than having to wait a week between the first and second episodes, we're getting episode two tonight as the series slides into its regularly scheduled time period. That means more human-like robots and more robot-like humans and a whole bunch of confusion (at least for us), about what is real and what is simulacrum.

So, this is it, the final episode of the season for "Almost Human," the last chance that we'll all get to, maybe, see someone hurt Michael Ealy in a way they think will kill him only to learn that he's a robot and doesn't go down quite so easily. Or, perhaps, we'll see someone stab Karl Urban in his log only to be really upset when they find out it's not real. Maybe, instead, we'll get a look at future technology that doesn't yet exist but would be truly cool beans if it did. Goodness knows. All we really know is that the season is ending this week.
