A mysterious global event causes everyone to black out for two minutes and seventeen seconds, during which time they see what their lives are like six months from now. Los Angeles FBI agent Mark Benford, along with his team, try to figure out why this happened and who or what caused it. They begin to piece together the future by creating a database of people's visions, known as the Mosaic Collection.
