The truth of the matter is that the struggle between brothers and sisters is eternal. There are about a million different tales that could be told about siblings and families and rivalries and kids and loves. We're not sure exactly which of those stories are going to be told tonight, but rest assured that some of them certainly will be told. Probably they'll be stories that relate to what's already occurred this season and what the producers may want to happen next season. Probably.

Brothers and sisters, huh? Listen, they could be cousins, uncles, aunts, and our father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate for all we care, we just know that their strife and happiness is the sort of strife and happiness we like to watch on Sunday nights. It makes us both feel good about where we are and yet still have some goals, some ambitions, but mostly it just makes us happy about where we are. It's something of a you-take-the-good-you-take-the-bad-and-there-you-have-the-facts-of-life kind of a thing.

Family is family. Family will always be family. People within a family may have some ups and downs, lefts and rights, backs and forths, but they will always remain family. Even when their television show is ending for the season, as "Brothers & Sisters" is tonight, they will remain family. There's something very comforting about that idea, something that just warms the cockles of your heart, isn't there? As this is the season finale, we don't expect things to go very smoothly this week, but they'll still be family when those credits roll.

Oh Tommy Walker, how can we miss you if you're so bad at staying away?
In the third season finale of ABC's "Brothers & Sisters," Nora goes down to Mexico to try to convince Tommy to return from self-imposed exile.
Meanwhile, Robert and Kitty are at a marital crossroads and Justin begins to make plans for his future.

Like there isn't already enough drama on "Brothers & Sisters," ABC is hyping up the two-episode "Troubled Waters" as some sort of extra-dramatic episode.
There will be a birth, a major illness and, if the teasers are to be believed, a shocking death.
Yikes. Expect plenty of crying even if everybody survives. Tears and wine, that's the Walker way.
